Default refund?

I ordered a sakura d3 along with all the hop ups for it and I had to show proof of who i was. I refused to do that and said I wanted a refund. Its been a week now and I'm,starting to wonder if I'm ever going to get it. Or if I have to file a dispute over this so I can get the over 400 dollars you are withholding from me. I paid with paypal. You practices are very misleading and I will, never buy from your company again.

File a paypal claim, post chinese new year emails take ages to respond to and processing time for orders can be up to 2 weeks.

What kind of proof are they asking for?

This sounds strange. I wouldn't want that hassle either.

Return postage to China takes a while bro. You can always file Paypal,
If you file now they might ask you for tracking and make you wait
until the vendor receives it. Good luck.

I had a issue with asiatees.com. I paid with paypal, but went strait to my credit card issuer and they refunded me in a couple weeks and are investigating. Dont even bother dealing with paypal. They take too long.

As soon as you file a Paypal dispute they take the money out of the seller's account and put it on 'hold'. Paypal is meant to verify Id etc themselves, and can confirm or verify the account holder which should be enough, for a store to need a copy of sensitive information such as a drivers licence or a birth certificate is a bit concerning particularly with identity theft becoming more and more prevalent.
