Storm Racing SRD280
Hi so ive just joined this forum. let me introduce my self, My names Kaz im 22 years old im a guy and live in the Uk. Im starting to get into racing multirotors as i had a little fly of a friends down at the farm he owns and i really enjoyed it and didnt seem to bad of a flyer. so now im looking into getting my own as a hobbie and something to work on.
Ok so whats peoples opinions on the SRD280. I'm thinking about buying one.
I have talked on a facebook group with a couple of people who have them and they say there not the best to have for a beginner as such. but then on the other hand I have seen videos on youtube with beginners using them and as they come with the 6 stages of flight mode, its said there quite good to slowly learn more with them. someone on the facebook group said that there not so great as they have a cowling and they brake easily.....but having said that i would have thought that the cowling would protect it a little ?
The software and kit that comes with them seems pritty decent from what i have been researching (im no pro so forgive me if its not) and seems easy to use especially to develop some flying skills.
Has anybody got one ? had one?
can anybody give me a heads up with them ?
should I buy somthing else ? although im quite set on this particular multirotor.
Thankyou
p.s If i dont reply to fast please dont think im being ignorant i just may not have checked my post straight away.
