Mono-Phan Technology With Multiwii
The new module with multiwii flight controller.
The landing gear was modified to handle the weight better.
The setup was changed to make it suitable with the multiwii.
No flights so far, except a couple of hover tests. Waiting for a new ubec for better power feed to the board.
The controller has mag, baro, autolevel, headfree, etc…
Hoping to test it soon after finding the right calibration…

CrossWing module maiden test with Multiwii & 5S setup
- New carbon frame and setup,
- New 5S batteries
- Newly adapted Multiwii controller
After playing with PID a little bit this machine turned into a beauty. The video have several landings and takeoffs, to make sure the new 80A ESC is not overheating. It held pretty well, after frying the 60A on LLRV module last week.
Mag worked without any problems. I was comfortable enough to take a couple of small spins around the park towards the end of the test. Considering the flight time that I got with multiple takeoffs, the new setup with 5S batteries will probably provide over 5 minutes flight time in an uninterrupted flight.
Pretty happy with the results…
