While this was a self inflicted fly away and not an interference or equipment failure it is still good to realize when you think it is out of range, or has crashed somewhere and your not sure what direction to even look for it because you got distracted. Hold that return to home button while you are looking for it as annoying as it is because you have to hold it the whole time unlike the Phantom in the end it all worked out as you can see....

I can only imagine how high this thing got being full throttle for minutes on end before I hit return to home.

Yeah, the 350 can really get out of sight pretty quickly, my friend had the same thing happen to him while taking high altitude video. He blinked and it was gone, RTH saved his as well.
