Syma S800G question
I purchased a Syma S800G a while back. Incredibly fun, especially for $20. One question though, it seems that it won't fly forward or backward as fast as it did when I first got it. It wasn't very fast to begin with, but it is noticeably slower now.
I've checked everything out, nothing broken or worn out. Swash plate is level, servo throws running full throw.
I used to be big into RC planes years ago (we're talking the mid 80's here), my last one being a Sweet-N-Low stick with an OS Max 50. Had various 50-60 sized planes over the years with a number of them self designed from scratch.
Never got into helis, and frankly never had the intention to get this little thing. Just happened across a video of it and when I found out it was only $20, heh, it was a no brainer.
I also purchased a Syma X1 quad copter, it's a hoot and does pretty well outside, even in wind.
Anyway, was just wondering if anyone knows any mods or things to check to make the little S800G a little faster/more responsive?
Or..maybe I've just gotten used to it and already bored and need something a bit more zippy...or even 6-ch.
