EDF For a starter?

Hi friends
The video shows that the pilot is very experienced. Personally, I wouldn't recommend any EDF as a first aircraft. Of course my RC Jets experience is somewhat limited.

Old thread, but if you've done time on a simulator an EDF (the right one) isn't that much of a handful to fly. I have the BlitzRCWorks F22 70mm and it is a blast to fly. Very stable, agile and enough power to be fun. Will climb vertical for quite a ways.

Well, I flew my very first RC plane of any sort not long ago.....and it was an EDF. But I had a few hours of practice using Clearview which helped alot.

It was a Durafly DH100 Vampire. The maiden flight was successful, though the landing was a bit rough on the retracts.

I'd post a Youtube vid of the flight but I don't have enough posts yet
