CX3 Question...Please help me out!! :)
Ok..so some history... I have been in RC for a about 15 years all cars trucks / elec and Nitro...About three years ago bought a Blade CP for a first heli...BIG MISTAKE! Couldn't get it to do anything!...Gave up on it...fast forward to now.
Wanted to get back into helis and start it slow. Bought a CX3. Love it! I dumped the body and went with a Boomtown V4 tail boom, Boomtown skids and the unbreakable battery tray and extreme body. I had this thing hovering, side to side, back and fourth and pirouettes in two days! I have had one semi rough landing where it came down from about 6 feet with no auto rotation and or very little rotor cushion. No biggie... Went to take off and she just wanted to tip left. Try again tip left and so on. I maxed out trim...no joy. I then adjusted the linkage and the servo horn placement. Then tried again. The tipping left issue was fixed but then at full trim backwards she wanted to launch forward. Again adjusted linkage and servo horn. All was fixed, had her at a hands of hover and so on. Parked her for a day, went to fly tonight and now I again have to adjust the trims hard back and hard right to max! What is causing this? Could it be a bad gyro or something? Thoughts and suggestions please!
