Default CX2

I have a question. I have just replace my two motors on my cx2 and I am having a problem keeping altitude on the helicopter. anyone have any suggestions? could it be the cold air outside thats not keeping it up?? Also it seems to happen after I have done a 180 with the helicopter? I know when you turn you are suppose to lose altitude but it keeps droping until it hits the ground?

I have been having simular problems with mine once in a while, I have noticed that one of my batteries flies fine, the other battery will not power the heli properly, it will hover but will want to turn, cannot recover from quick decent and will fly kind of eratically. I would look at you battery, if you have many flights on the pack, it may be time for a new one.

Sounds like a worn out battery. The brushed setup on stock CX2 (CX or CX3 also) draws a lot of current for which the batteries supplied/sold by E-flite are at best marginally designed for.

Yep.. it does sound like the typical symptoms of a CX with a battery gone bad. You mentioned the cold weather in your post, make sure not to leave your lipos out in the garage/shed/etc. if it gets very cold out there. Lipos are like bananas, they'll go bad in a hurry in a cold environment. Of course, you don't wanna leave them on the stove either (lipos OR bananas).
