hobbyking or exi or trex 450 depending on how much you want to spend or how much time you have for repairing. otherwise for a rtf heli the blade 400's are nice and come with a dx6i. if you ever want to fly planes you have a choice of some real nice BNF's

Fly your buddy's cx2 a couple more times. Get to a point that you're comfortable flying it in all orientations, are able to take off and spot-land in all orientations, and can do it all as if it were second nature. If you still find it enjoyable, like interplanet said, the blade 400 is a decent place to start without breaking the bank if you want a 450ish sized heli. If you've got money to burn, lots of flying space, and are not easily intimidated by the thought of being decapitated by your new toy, jump right into a 500/600 sized electric.

Default MSR

I would recommend the MSR because I am in the same boat as you are but I have been flying my MCX and cx2 and cx3 for a year now and I am ready to go to the next step. I have been told the MSR is the best thing. Because its quick and it will get you use to how the bigger helis fly. Once you have practiced with that then you will have no problem with the bigger helis. Plus the cost of having to repair them because you are not use to the reaction and the speed. Anyone agree????
