Questions?? MIDWEST ELECTRIC HOTS

My cousin wants me to try electric flight and I have a Midwest Electric Hots that I purchased in the 1990's that would be an idea candinate. I never built the kit because nicads were to heavy. But with the new batteries, this would be a hot bird to fly. But what motor, battery and prop would make this bird perform? I have no experience with electrics and need help.

Just take the plans to any good RC store and ask for info on a brushless outrunner or inrunner to match size gas motor with mount etc and control and batt needed , - should help a lot- at least get a good idea where to start

a 450 size motor would work good for it. 3s 2200 and probably start with an
8x4 prop and go from there.

here is a good motor choice for some serious power
