from my own experience i would recommend the Parkzone T28 Trojan . it is my first plane and now have 80 + flights . put a fair amount of time on the flight sim first but with this plane i have performed the basic pattern flight to now im doing loops, rolls, inverted 8s, knife edge 8s, snap rolls, flat spins, spiral dives, and alot more. i believe this is a great first plane as it can be very predictable in flight and flies quite slow. i will say there is no better advice than time on a sim though . i have also heard several times that if your going to get into flying stay away from 2 axis planes (rudder and elevator only)and go with something with ailerons because 2 axis planes can give you bad habits. I love the T28 .
hope this helps

The t-28 is a little much for a beginner, to high of roll rates plus it can be a handfull, no power off, hands off flight. If you have some simulator time though it would not be a bad choice.

As for the wild hawk and the easystar I have both for FPV. The wild hawk is very similar, but it flies faster and the radio gear that comes with it is a no go for anything. That being said the easy star is one of the best plane I have ever owned and I have owned alot of planes.

The radio gear in the easystar is hitec with a full range receiver so you can spec it out (so high you can barely see it) and not worry about going out of range.

Also if you swap the battery on the easy with a 2s 3000 lipo you can fly it for well over an hour and a half.

That being said the hawk is cool for the price but the easystar is on sale right now for 130 at hobby peopl and you are going to pay that for the hawk after you replace th radio gear.

I'm looking at getting a skyhawk.

Has anybody had one/anyone got one now?

Would the be a good beginner's plane?
