hi
i am thinking of getting an electric helicopter. i know the basics of the electronics but am not that sure about lipos. i have a charger that charges lipos put do i need to get an external balancer, if so were and how much.

i dont want to spend that much on it. im not looking to compete or anything just something to fly around at home.

Yes, my parents live there so I am in Carrollton around Christmas. I've been to Mike's, nice tracks and Mike himself is a great guy, but I only go there when it's absolutely necessary. I have much disdain for the other employees there, to me they resemble car salesmen than a fellow hobbyist, if you're not going to buy something, then they don't care about you.

Anyways back on topic, you guys need to try out the new Blade CX2. The Spektrum radio is a huge welcome, and the helicopter's new gyro makes it dead easy to fly. Excellent helicopter for those who just wants to sit around the house and mess with something.
