Rebirth of vintage gas boat
I picked this gem up locally, it has pretty much sat in a garage since the early 60s. It had tons of dust on it. I was told it ran but that was over 40 years ago. It was missing a few things, exhaust radio gear/ box, the rudder was missing/ broken, pretty much boat was not in the best shape. I was able to get the motor started for a few seconds, it has lots of octora parts on it.

I have debated whether I wanted to work on this or not. Its has been a long winter so far and once I heard the motor run I wanted to drive it. The gel coat does sparkle in the sun. Today I built my own exhaust for it and made a new rudder, both old school ways.

I had a Fox 78 engine in it and a Citizenship radio.

No kidding, it's still snowing and cold here!
There was an O&R engine up for bid on eBay with the seller wanting crazy money for it!

Yeah, that's it!
Unless you're into collecting vintage stuff I could drop a lot better powerplant into a boat for a few $$$ less.
