Noob to boats...help!
I've always owned cars/trucks (savage's primarily) but would now like to get a boat. I was hoping to get some advice on brands to stick with, types of boats, etc. I will probably just take it to the local lake with my toddler and play around with it...nothing to serious (but not radio shack type either).
I was hoping to keep the initial investment to $150 ish (preferably lower as I'm the type to go cheaper initially but then upgrade spend more later).
The aquacraft revolt and proboat models caught my eye. I'd want to stay electric (brushless if it'd fit my initial budget).
Thanks for the help!

I saw a couple of those used on ebay...might be a year or two old since they don't have the same graphics going for around 100 (I have a rx/tx I could use).
I'll probably try to go used first unless used vs. new is about the same price.
Is proboat a good brand?

Might be a dumb question but I'm that new. What's the pro/con of a deep-v or catamaran boat?
