Looking to get into a boat, strictly for messing around but need speed and good handling. What would you recommend??
I was thinking about an aquacraft supervee27, or blackjack26??

get supervee, don't run lipo unless you install auto cut off for lipo. the stock speed control doesn't have lipo cutoff

don't get either if you want good handling. If you want RTR go Fastech, will flip much less than the SV or BJ.

Or if you want to build one go with a Delta Force 26" hull and Proboat motor/esc. Had one of these that was very competitive racer, which means it handles great. Nice deep vee and carves a killer turn. Stable at speeds into the 50s (yep still on the Proboat BJ motor) - you do need to run an external BEC to go more than 4S though.

Been looking at getting a boat as well and Jesse' right about the Delta Force. They make a knock off of it with motor/ESC but the electrics are crap and have to be swapped out. With an Ammo 2300 and 4S batts, this is what it'll do..

traxxas spartan looks like fun.Thats if you can get your hands on one without needing vosoline, do to the price and availability.I would like a spartan my self but tired of all the bull.
