Questions?? Need help converting 1/8 to brushless
I have a miss bud I want to go brushless,what motor,esc,lipos,motor mount,how to balance it ..all help will do!

Try rumrunnerracing.com they have a section dedicated to 1/8 scale electric hydroplanes. Most of the guys are running Neu-motors.

ok I got a 1/8 miss bud 26cc gas how may turns out for both H L speed needles the guy I got it from has it all out of wack.. where can I buy parts ?

well I have started to convert it over NEU 2215 motor Castle 240HV esc 4 5c 28c 5000mah lipos

yes it cost quite a bit,, the motor is a NEU 2215/2.5Y 600KV with 8mm shaft

i will b running 4 5cell packs ..20cells so, 600kv X 18.5=9,300 now im not sure if the volts go up after i hookup all 4.. it can be 22,000 or 44,000 rpm ..

NO,NO- YOU CANT RUN THAT MOTOR ON 18.5V. YOUR SUPPOSE TO SERIES CONNECT TWO 5S PACKS ON EACH SIDE THEN PARALLEL THEM TOGETHER FOR 10S2P 10,000 MAH. GARUNTEED

WOW JUST DID THE MATH, THAT MOTOR WILL ONLY SPIN 25, SOMTHIN RPM ON 42V OR 10S. THATS WAY LOW YOU MIGHT NEED 12S LIKE I STATED BEFORE, OR ONE BIG PROP
