Default 17.5T motors Short Stack 1S

Hi Guys,
I see that many people are running this type of motor in their 2WD off road buggies at my local track. I understand the lower resistance, but are they faster? More torque? More importantly will you burn the motor running it with a 2S battery? I'm thinking about trying it in my B6D. Thoughts?

The easy answer is the short stacks have less resistance and are higher rpm motors. They are the norm at most tracks now. Just underst and you'll drop a couple teeth on your pinion. There's no harm in running them in 2wd buggies or trucks for that matter.
