Default R1 Digital-2 200A ESC

From the R1Wurks Web Site:

New from R1 Motor lab is the new Digital-2 200A top of the line brushless speed controller. Developed using the most advanced CPU technology and proprietary software combo, to deliver the smoothest most responsive throttle feel yet. Months of data analysis was done both on the race track & on the dyno to fine tune the Digital-2 power delivery & brake strength. The controller offers the most advanced throttle and brake adjustability to suit a wide range of driving styles. The system offers blinky mode (zero timing) for spec racing. All adjustable settings are easily programmed using a digital program box, designed with an intuitive, easy to use interface. The unit also features A.C.L.C. Advanced Component Level Cooling system, this design allows individual Mosfets (inner & outer components) to transfer heat directly to the upper heatsink. Our safety first approach forces the user to disconnect the battery when its time to power off the controller, minimizing the chances of leaving a live battery from draining. Most systems with push button power switch continuously drain the battery even after the power is off.

Features:

Advanced High Speed Micro controller

Enhanced throttle smoothness, feel & brake strength

Blinky mode for spec racing (zero timing)

I think a few people are holding off until it has the all important Roar Legal thing done. (I know I am)

I heard about many issues with this esc at IIC. Driver couldn't finish any of his runs. Throttle is like on and off switch from what was explained to me.

This unit would appear to be from same OEM as the muchmore fleta 2

Lots of similarities - not just the graphics and words in the manual 😂

Are you sure that wasn't the version 1?

I didn't like the Fleta for the same reasons throttle felt too on/off

Default Opinions needed

Ok guys I received my replacement speedy due to lack of / no brakes and I installed new one , silly me In a rush I forgot to cable tie my sensor wire up , it lasted 3 laps until the car stoped due to sensor wire rubbed though one wire on the sensor cable.
I replaced sensor cable and tested no good tried new motor another sensor cable and receiver still no good. We decided that something had gone wrong with the speedy.i sent the speedy back and was total honest about what had happened and I was told that I had blown the micro processor no warranty . My question is could a open circuit in one of the sensor wires have caused this? Could be believeable if it had shorted but that wasn't the case. This is not a dig at the supplier as the customer service has been great from them just after opinions if this is possible or if someone has heard of it before.
Cheers
