Default No Antenna Tube Look

How are folks routing the antenna wire to get away from using an antenna tube?

Thanks,

Kevin

I use receivers with no antennas.I'm not sure if that's an option for you depends on what radio you use..besides that I use antenna tubes.

You can get away with leaving the antenna coiled up inside the reciever box although I'll use an antenna tube and just have the white (the actual antenna) not all the black antenna wire just poking out of the reciever box and into a short piece of tube that I bend and form so it stays under the body.

I arch the antenna tube between the antenna tube mounts on both sides of my B6d. Fits under the body and keeps in out of the way.

That will definitely work, as I use a 4PL radio. Are there any drawbacks to using the internal antenna? Range, glitching, etc?

No drawbacks just + there small and fit just about anywhere and make for a nice clean install. Also very affordable if you order 2 from tower hobbies and use a coupon code.they come out to about $34.50 a piece

I use the same futaba receivers, don't forget the quantity discount below the picture on towers website. Then stack a coupon onto the order and its crazy cheap.

I wrap my Airtronics antenna around the receiver case using dual lock Velcro. Saw it on YouTube, short course world. I've seen no negative effects on range or glitch issues.
