Questions?? Lipo (drone?) Wierd Charging Issue.

I picked up a pair of 4K Mah 4S drone lipos awhile back $9 apiece. Nothing special. My question is, neither of these batteries will charge over 3.3 amps no matter what I do. They do charge fine and balance, just at max of 3.3amps then tapering down as they balance, even if I tell charger to go to 4 or 5 or 6amps. Two different Venom Pro2 chargers. My other lipos charge fine on these same chargers, 5 or 6 amps. Are there regulators in some of these drone batteries? To control the current flow?

Eta batteries don't get hot charging and when they were new were fairly low IR.

I guessing you are using an A/C style charger. The internal power supply may not be sufficient enough to push the 16.8 volts at a higher rate.

50w charger. It won't charge 4s packs any faster.

Ah that may very well be it. It didn't even occur to me lol. Yeah these are little chargers not much balls lol. Thanks for this. I'll try charging off the car battery when I can and see what it does.
