Default Gens Ace 6750mAh 14.8V 70C 4S1P HardCase

Hello fellow racers.

Have anyone nticed this new pack from Gens Ace?

I was planning on getting their 5800mAh 45c as it was on sale for €65 but it's not anymore and now I see this one.

http://www.gensace.de/car-lipo/gens-...attery-14.html

It seems almost too good to be true. That capacity, that discharge rate and at such a low weight? And even less than €100?

I even wrote them to get them to confirm the weight.

Am I missing something or is this just new tech making it's way into the market?

I had luck with a couple 2s gens ace in the past but since I tried SMC batteries they have more punch and are a bit better made for the similar budget price.

I bought two 4s 6500mah 65C for my 1/8 buggy and they are better just as good as my vemon I regretfully bought for $145 for 5000mah 45C before I knew about SMC and got 2 SMC 4s for the price of 1 vemon.
Not bashin vemon they have a great warrenty but it is definitely reflected in their price

When I made the topic they had a mistake on thier website. At the time they claimed the weight was only 530g.

I went ahead and bought 3 anyway.

I haven't seen SMC available locally. I live in Denmark. Don't wanna order batteries from US.

Hello Huleboer

Did you test them already ? How are they holding ?

Also is the weight really only 616 grams ?

and 139*47*50 are the correct dimensions ?

Waiting for a feedback so i can decide to order them or not

I haven't actually weighted them yet. I will try to remember to do so when I get off work.

Didn't meassure them either, but they fit in the tray on a RC8B3e, so it can't be more than a mm or so larger if there is any difference.

But with the wires on top of the pack I couldn't fit the body over it, and had to lay the pack on its side. With the slightly taller than wide pack, that meant I had to remove the side padding on the battery tray in one side. Then it fit snuggly.

No lack of power or punch in any way, and they last and last. My last pack lasted 25 mins and wasn't on cut-off yet. But that was a _very_ relaxed session with lots of waiting for other people on the track and a lot of laying on the roof
