esc in xxxsct died, seems lke an act of congress to get it replaced by losi/horizon. whats the cheapest direct replacement esc i can get?

it was the 45a dyn4940

I'd take a look at the HobbyWing QuicRun for an affordable and reliable sensorless ESC. If you want the equation to shift more towards the affordable/(very) cheap, there's these - YMMV.
