Default KO PROPO EX-5FH

i have a EX-10 crystal radio, i really like it but buying a 2.4 module/receiver package is another $199 and more for a extra receiver...at the point, why bother

i found this KO PROPO EX-5FH 2.4 GHz FHSS it has same config as my older EX-10
http://www.rcmart.com/ex5fh12288doub...ml?cPath=36_47

i went to both KO sites it does not show this version at all, is shows a discontinued EX-5U version

my questions are:

- any thoughts, on the EX-5FH, operation, reliability
- worth getting?
- seriously outdated?

It's the same as the EX5 UR, but updated to FHSS. I Think that it is KO's entry level radio. I got this radio for my son (I have a KIY) and it works very good. Good range, solid connection, never had a glitch with it. I say entry level but it still has pretty much any adjustments you would need. Definitely a step above Sanwa's MX-V, but not to the level of the MT4 or EX2.

No problem. Like I said, it's a solid radio. If you are tight on budget, I would definitely consider this one. Very good quality and solid connection. Maybe not all bells and whistles as fancier radios, but it does get the job done. KO Propo quality.
