Default can you slow down servo speed?

Yeah, I get you can make slower movements .
Im looking at a Savox SC-1258TG Super Speed Titanium Gear Digital Servo. Its priced right for my budget and I am going to put it in a short course truck so I think the torque is perfect also . I am a little worried about the speed being .08 at 6v being too fast. Is this a concern for racing or should I just live with it. I was looking around and most seem to be using a speed of .10-.14. Would I be able to get it slower with using expo on my MX-V radio? Again, the price is right and torque is right , speed might be a little fast?

Speed(@4.8V sec/60): .10
Torque(@4.8V oz-in): 133.3
Speed(@6.0V sec/60): .08
Torque(@6.0V oz-in): 166.6

Hobby king sells this part which I dont know if I can use ?

mx-v don't think it has the option on Speed of servos. MT-4, M8, M11 and M12's do. upper TX of Airtronics. I don't know much with Futaba's. You can look for info on them.

Setting expo to the negative would probably be your best bet. I have the MX-V and a savox 1251 and turn my steering expo to -35 to make my car less twitchy. That and a little less dual rate has helped me ease back into racing

Try it at 0.8 first. You might find you like it. I have the same servo and love the speed.

I'll run as fast of a servo as I can get, assuming the torque is enough.

Most higher end radios will allow you to slow the servo speed. Not sure about your particular transmitter though.

Expo isn't the same as servo speed. Expo will just soften the area around center (or opposite) but it makes the input ramp up later in the wheel travel.

You can turn down the BEC voltage to slow it down.

Most good radios have the function to turn the speed down. My Futaba 3PK does and I love the function.

Just an FYI, some of the Hitec servos have a variety of adjustments available when combined with one of their servo programmer/testers. Including servo speed. Some of the programmer/testers are PC based and less expensive than the traditional separate units.

My 4PKS-R offers turn and return speed adjustments, but I find myself using full speed and apply more Expo instead.

That will effect the throw, not the speed itself.

Get a 1256 model, It is the same with only different gearing, more torque and a bit slower.
