I am literally Brand New to On-Road RC, and not even sure if this is the right thread to post this question in. I have tried searching and have not found what I am looking for. How do I tell how many Poles this motor has? (tried searching forums and google to no avail) Also what is the difference between 2-pole vs 4-pole?

It's a 2 pole motor. The number of poles refers to the way the stator is layed out.

Thank you Paulina_Fastone, Another question if you have the time, what effect does the stator design have on the motor?

The M3's are brushless motors so the number of poles is a measure of the rotor, not the stator.
