Default Will a HK GR300 replace a SR3000

I have an older Spectrum DSM with a SR3000 receiver. I would like to buy a new receiver for a basher car and was wondering if the HK OrangeRx GR300 DSM2 compatible 3Ch 2.4Ghz Ground Receiver would bind with it? If not is there another kind of receiver that would work? Looking for something inexpensive

Thanks

Not 100% sure, but I believe that DSM and DSM2 are not directly compatible frequency modulations.

If you mean you have an older DSM transmitter, then I don't believe it will work with a DSM2 receiver. DX2, DX3, the modules for other radios, are some examples.

DX2.0 and DX3.0 can be either if memory serves. Early ones are DSM only, believe later models do work with DSM2. Can't remember how to tell them apart. Let us know what you have and likely someone can clarify/confirm.

The other way is backwards compatitable, a DSM2 transmitter will work with a DSM receiver.

The SR301 will work and it's only $25.

Default Orange

Only use these if you have an older Dsm2 compatible receiver. The newer Spektrum transmitters will not work with them either....
