Glitch buster / capacitor. Can I use it for Nitro setup?
Hello all. I was wondering if anyone uses a glitch buster in their nitros.
Also want to know if I can plug it into any available channel.
I'm not having any issues but I wanted to try a glitch buster to see if it would help my savox servos and give them more clean power.
Thanks

You can plug the glitch buster in any available channel in the receiver. Some receivers have a dedicated "power" channel (often the last one).

On an electrical car the receiver is powered by the esc, and if the esc has a not so powerful bec, then the servo may not get adequate power, and a glitch buster comes into play.
Think most standard receiver batteries are 6V, but nowadays where most high end receivers can handle 7.4V or more, coupled with high voltage servos, you can use a 2s lipo as a receiver battery to deliver a higher, more constant power flow to the receiver and servos (constant speed).
Alternatively, if your receiver and/or servos do not support high voltage, you could use a LiFe battery that will not provide significantly more voltage than the standard 6V, but will provide a more constant power than the ordinary 6V nimh battery.

You certainly could use one but there is absolutely no need for one.
