Recommended Radio Case
Can anyone recommend a case for anew Aitronics m11x, not necessarily the protek or aitronics or jconcepts cases, looking for something possibly offun the wall and or custom case that you've come across or made yourself out of other cases, pics of what you have would be greatly appreciated and maybe a site or place where you got your case/ideas from.
Thanks in advance

I use a pelican 1450 case for my futaba 4px. I imagine your m11 would fit. The depth is the key measurment or it won't close.
The foam comes as a block and you pluck out the little rectangles to fit your radio. The pull and pluck inserts are replaceable so if you ever get a new radio you just get a new insert. If you send pelican a cad file of the radio they will sell you a custom made insert for the case.
They are also a lot stronger than the metal stuff out there. They are water proof and it is rumored they can be run over by a car.

Plano double pistol case, good construction, plenty of foam and protection, and is deep.
cost
$15-$20, customize the interior to what you want, etc... inside and out... can be had at walmart!
May not be as strong as my pelican cases or my skb's but lets face it!! were not going to drag it behind the truck to the track! better chance of damaging the radio in the pits or on the drivers stand then transporting it to and from the days event!!! LOL

I use a Condition 1 100801 Watertight Black Medium Case. It is only $57 on Amazon. This case is the same size as Amain's Protek generic radio case that will fit any radio using the proper, extra cost insert. Condition 1 cases have pick and pluck foam. They are crush proof, water proof, have a lifetime warranty and are made in America. Even though I own a Pelican case for my camera gear, I prefer the Condition 1 case because the latches are much easier to use, and the quality is as good as the Pelican case. Also, the price is much lower than factory, Protek, and Pelican cases. I also prefer the hard plastic case over metal cases. Over time, metal cases get dinged and dented. I own one of those also.
For customization,I put a large, white Futaba sticker on each side, and voila, it looks like I have a Futaba case.

I PICKED THIS UP FROM HARBOR FREIGHT WITH THE INTENTION OF MAKING A CAASE FOR MY CHARGER AND POWER SUPPLY FOR EASY SET UP AND DOWN AT THE TRACK AND I HAVE ROOM FOR RADIO AS WELL STILL WORKING ON IT BUT IT IS GOING TO WORK GREAT, COMES WITH PULL AND PLUCK. I TOOK IT TO THE TRACK SUNDAY AND AT FIRST FELT A LITTLE BIG BUT IT CLEARED THE CHARGER, POWER SUPPLY BATTERIES AND RADIO FROM MY FIELD TOTE.
