When charging a 2s lipo on the x4 charger do you wait until the battery charges to the capacity of mah or until the voltage is correct on each cell. Also do you set the cutoff timer.

you should always balance charge(correct voltage on each cell) to maximize the life of the battery.

Most charger have a cutoff timer of 2 hours set to default, If you charge at 1C you will never come close to the cutoff

When you put the charger into lipo mode, it does all the work for you. It will stop when the battery is full. The cell voltages should be about 4.2v when finished, but due to variations of measuring equipment, you might see something slightly different.

And depending on how empty the battery was when you charged it has the biggest impact on how much is put back in.
