It's pretty awesome. I like the looks of their new radio as well. Once tower has this esc in stick I will probably get the radio and esc for my buggy.

Has anyone tried the Graupner 180a esc yet? This isn't the same as the Arrma 180a esc is it?

Default GM Genius 180r ESC and X8n Tx

Anybody have experience with the new Graupner 180r GM Genius and X8n transmitter. I running this combo in my 1/8 scale Buggy and Truggy with Tekin T8 motors (1900kv and 2000kv)

I'm used to rx8 settings and the Graupner has considerably more, some of which I am not familiar with.

If anybody has experience with these electronics, would you mind posting your setup here? Just looking for a good baseline.

I ran one then sold the car, he ran it and sold it, then that guy is still running it. A year and a half worth of running and it's still going strong. More adjustments than any other ESC on the market and with a sensorless motor it's honestly smoother than some other brands. Never had any issues what so ever. I am honestly looking to go back to one since I'm racing again. It will take some playing around on the programming card to get what you want but I ended up detuning the ESC a lot. Even has an abs brake function!

Thanks for the feedback, do you recall what motor you were running with it?

My 180r (vs 2) went up in smoke today while practicing for a club race running the EB48 in my signature geared 15/44. Couldn't figure out what caused it though. I have a spare Mamba Monster but unfortunately it damaged my futaba rx which i didnt have a spare for.
