Default mounting option for RX

so you guys think this is ok?

It will fit in the plastic side pieces for the chassis but I'm afraid it's going to take a hit there.

It should be fine there. On one of my older touring cars (It's electric) I had the receiver mounted on the servo and had no issues. Where does it say to mount it in the instruction manual?

This is an e conversion and the kit's receiver/servo mount broke. So now i simply mounted the servo as durango intended. But now i have no enclosure for the receiver. It should be fine without one as i only run it indoors on clay.

Hmmmm, what would do then is tape the LED and bind holes. Put some silicone around the sides of the receiver to seal it and some Blu-Tac or Play-Doh in the unused ports.

the only opening on that receiver is the plugs. the bind is a button under the sticker
I run my 1/10 associated buggy without one because it never had one anyway.
the track I go to doesn't produce dust at all. its damp clay. so I"m not really worried about dirt. I'm worried about radio interference being mounted on top of the servo.
but you said you do it and never had problems so I know it can be done.

now if it runs off at full throttle into wall you'll be hearing about it
