MT-4 keep timer full screen?

MT-4 keep timer full screen?
I really like the race timer feature on the MT-4. The only thing I am wondering is if you guys know of any way to keep the timer full screen after you start it. When you start the timer it fills the whole screen, but after about 5 seconds it minimizes into the corner. Any ideas?
