Default problem with dx3e + sr300?

finally got my scte fully cleaned and running
but the sr300 in it is very very glitchy.

when only the esc is plugged in, there's no problem. but as soon as I plug in the servo (d226f if it matters) the esc and steering are very very laggy and unresponsive. The steering is constantly twitching even with no tx input, and at full lock to the left it's intermittent. as in, it will go full lock, back to center, then back to full lock over and over. full lock to the right it doesn't do that, but it only pick up the signal half the time, and and my throttle control is pretty much gone.

I plugged everything in to my el-super-cheapo FS rx and everything was great.
I'm sure my dx3e and sr300 are supposed to be much better than my gt2 and gr3e, but right now it's not seeming like it.

It's the stock motor/esc, which I believe are rebranded castle.

A RTR Losi SCTE? That came with a DX3E and SR300? If it is, it came with a Losi branded ESC and motor. You try another servo? It sounds like the servo is drawing too much from the BEC.

Was it doing this before? You need to provide a bit more information.

I just got the car in the mail a few days ago and ran it for the first time yesterday. it was a rtr scte with the losi motor/esc, which I've read are rebranded castle creations stuff.
I haven't tried a different servo yet, no. I just tried the different receiver and it worked fine.
and I have no idea if it did it before. I'll try with the crappy stock servo to see if that's the problem.

edit: I put the receiver in my m05 with a futaba s3010, and it seems to be working okay now. The d226f was definitely drawing too much power.

I'm gonna say you've read wrong.

And you can try a capacitor to see if that fixes your problem....the combination of the D226F and Spektrum receiver may be the issue not allowing the receiver to transfer enough voltage to the servo from the ESC's BEC.
Something like this....http://www.amain.com/product_info.ph...tage-Protector
