noob need help/info on how to choose a transmitter
I have a old nitro rs4 and it did not come with a transmitter and Receiver. Can I buy any transmitter package? is there certain ones I have to buy? What do I look for when buying one? I am not looking to spend alot of money. are flysky gt3b, gr3c, gt2b any good?
thanks in advance.

The Flysky setups are great for basher vehicles. They are cheap, have a fair amount of functions, and are reasonably comfortable in the hands. The receivers are cheap and plentiful. Here are the problems though:
1. The trigger will break at some point.
2. If you attempt to race with this radio, you may notice it to be difficult. I had a terrible time until I upgraded to a faster system. The latency on the Flysky is high.
3. The GT3B will suck batteries like crazy. If you go flysky get the GT3C as a bare minimum.
That all being said, if you have any intention of hitting the race track with that radio at ANY point in your RC career, spend a few more dollars. The Airtronics MX-V is great. It can be found rather cheap considering Airtronics quality.
Good luck!
