Default Dynamite Passport Ultra Duo - Software?

I spent days in the support queue from Horizon when I tried to ask a question and what came back was simply a face palm answer.

I asked what software I should use to view the battery statistics on my PC and where I should find it, after about three days of them mulling it over I got a link to the version 1.5 firmware. It came with that firmware and that is not the same thing as software.

The documentation has minimum system requirements that include a CD-ROM drive that can do a mini disk. But my charger came with no disk, and it was bought new and shrink wrapped.

I have already looked here and here on my own before I even contacted Horizon Support.

So if anybody knows where I can find PC Software I would appreciate the help.

Taking a quick look at the manual there doesn't appear to be the capability to log battery statistics so viewing software is a moot point.

Try this: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...X727497X52.zip
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...4X432760X1.txt

This charger runs the same software as the Turnigy's and the HiTech and the ProTek.

Could also try this: http://hitecrcd.com/files/Hitec%20Charge%20Master.exe

Just because you can connect it to your PC to update it doesn't mean it has it has the capability to do something it wasnt designed for. Looking at the firmware update they pointed you toward it was probably for stability, enable new features, etc.

Think of it like updating the firmware on your esc. Some have the ability to log, some don't, but you can make them perform better/more stable/mroe efficient with newer firmware. Your charger is the same in this case. It can be updated but no logging functionality.

No offense, but I know what firmware is. What this unit did was load system drivers so windows can utilize it as hardware...

This is from the manual:

"Minimum computer requirements for use of included software: Microsoft®
Windows XP®, Windows 7® or Windows Vista® operating system, Compact disk (CD)
reader capable of reading a mini-CD and USB 2.0 port"

It has software somewhere? It suggest it would have been on supplied media, but no such media was in my box.

does it do graphing of Avg Voltage, etc? Will the charger with the LogView? I know logview supports many different chargers.

I did not dedicate a lot of time to it yet, but it does offer a real time graph of the voltage.

Looked up logview, found it hosted here in German and English. But at least the effort at this moment to download it was not working. But at the same time strange and useless things get blocked here at work. I will try again from home.
