Spektrum DX2L with OrangeRx?
I recently acquired a Spektrum DX2L with a vehicle purchase and for being a cheap RTR radio I actually really like it.
I have a Losi micro for which I need a radio system so I was thinking instead of spending $40 on a Futaba receiver to work with my 3PRKA, I could spend a lot less on an OrangeRx receiver instead, maybe in the $10 range.
According to the specs on the Spektrum site, this is a DSM radio compatible with all DSM and DSM2 receivers.

HobbyKing has an OrangeRx receiver for DSM2. It says it will not work with "Legacy DSM" transmitters.

Is the DX2L a "Legacy DSM" radio? I'm thinking no, since the specs mention DSM2 compatibility. Does anyone have any insight as to whether these two will work together?
