Purchased a fried esc and don't know what to do. Help!!!
I bought a Novak club spec esc and motor combo off of a guy on here and he said everything worked when he put it away to sell.... Well I bought it fom him and hooked everything up correctly and tried to use it but it didn't work. The esc was fried. What do I do????

I don't know about everybody else's thoughts on that but IMO, saying "it worked when I put it away" would make the purchase questionable for me, if it works just say it works nothing extra needed in most cases
Maybe you contact him and see what he thinks about it or maybe Novak CS could do something for you, I don't know anything about their CS so couldn't tell you forsure

If you are confident that you got everything hooked up right and that the ESC arrived dead I would make option 1 to return it to the seller.
Failing that, or if you have any reason to suspect the fault may be on your end I would contact Novak. I have not worked with them on ESC's but the support I got on a bad sensor board was top notch. But they can give you repair or replacement estimates if no warranty option is to be had.

Did you get the instructions with the ESC? If not you can download them from www.teamnovak.com
Check and see what the lights are telling you? I believe the club ESC only has one blinking white light to indicate it is in blinky mode when it is turned on. You said lights come on. The number and color indicate faults and help you diagnose the issue.
Are you using a sensored motor? I would think so, if it is the Novak club set up. Could be a bad sensor wire or board in the motor. Again the lights may be telling you this condition exists.
Novak CS is very good in my past experience. I now run Tekin but not because of any Novak CS issues.

True that it could be an issue with the sensor set up. I had a bad sensor board that would let the ESC run OK for a little bit and the it would reboot the ESC then be OK again for a little bit. It looked for all the world like a bad ESC for a while...
See if your novak powers up with the sensor cable off and motor not connected.
