Thank you very much for making that video. I was lost until seeing it. The manual says to have both transmitter and ESC on, then hold set up for 4 seconds to get it into program mode. That doesn't work. The transmitter must be off.

For anyone else who might be confused, when the transmitter is on, that's when you switch the SSL on and off. Took me a while to understand that, too. But I figured it out.

The manual for these things suck. But it's so friggin cool to have it all working. Great unit.

Has anyone run the sv-plus zero esc in mod 4wd buggy and mod 2wd buggy? Just want to make sure it can handle the classes without blowing up on me.

thanks!

Currently running it in my TM4 4wd with a Hobbywing v10 6.5. It runs perfectly.

Built in telemetry works with the hobbywing v10 as well. Very cool. Rpm and temperature readouts are kind of neat. Temp is useful.

I have a couple of the ESC/Receiver combos currently but unfortunately I am using them with a MT4 which is hardly ideal because of the lack of SSL.

Having said that, these are really nice combos IMHO. I am definitely upgrading my radio to take full advantage of what these have to offer. I am torn between the MT4S and the M12S. The biggest drawback to the 12S is obviously the price at $499.

My questions are 1. Does the 12S provide any significant advantages that the 4S does not provide with this ESC/Receiver?

also, 2. what info does the telemetry of the ESC pass onto the radio's? Temp, RPM, etc???

I have the Mt 4 s, and it's a great radio. It's lighter than the 12s. I'm not even using all the functions on the 4s, so anything the 12s has is likely overkill.

I'm using the sv plus zero with the 4s, with a hobbywing v10 motor on my tm4. I get rpm, motor and esc temps. Very cool.

Get the Mt 4 s. You will be more than satisfied. Check Banzai Hobby. I think they have it on sale or packaged with 2 receivers.

besides the extra functions the m12s is supposed to have less lag

you can find some numbers in the m12s thread

Has anyone else tried this ESC with a short course truck? I thought it could handle it like my r10 pro but it got to 200 degrees quick. Is it not meant for 2s short course running a 4000kv motor? It's on an sct410.3 btw

Can any help me with the AUX 2 plug. I dont understand it and havent got it to be in use.
i have SV Plus Type D with a MTS. ive gotten the SSL Setup and i can control all the AUX 2 Codes. but i was trying to be able to control My Gyro (non Sanwa) to be adjusted through remote. i cant figure it out. Do i need to use the Y-Harness?

Thanks in advance.

if i cant figure this out. im considering this a downside of being integrated RX/ESC

The aux2 can only be used as a +- plug for transponders and such if you enabled the Aux2 in SSL in your tx. To use your gyro in aux2 you have to set aux2 in your tx as normal and adjust aux2 functions manually. I also have a type d with built in rx on my f1 and i already tried using a gyro without any problems, but didnt need the aux2 settings so it was easy for me.
