There should be 2 temp readings, the first for the ESC and the for the motor IF it has a built-in temp sensor.

even ESC (Temp 1) temperature? make sure your SSL is turned on.

if it's just Temp 1 and no Temp 2, it's the motor. replace it

if you are not getting any temp at all from this esc/with 472 or 482 receiver then just rebind and make sure telemetery is turn on

if you are only getting temp from esc - then your motor does not have a internal temp sensor or a non-compatible temp sensor

please share some settings... I am running on 13.5 V10

i have tried X20, Xeruns, D3.5 and D4, all worked with the Vortex Temp sensor.

Negative on the Trackstar motor, i don't know about the newer model that just came out.
older LRP X7 also doesn't work.

I've tried Muchmore Fleta ZX WC 3.5 in 1:12, no temp sensor.
HW 8.5 V10 was in my 2WD, it had temp sensor.

It seems that for 1:12 mod, there has always be about 50% boost and power mode about 50. Otherwise it just doesnt have enought rip and speed.
Have to play with the settings more! Highter Power mode seems to affect boost start time from lower revs.

I'd like to pick up one of these with the built in receiver for 1/10 Stadium truck. I want to make sure I pick up the correct version as it's not clear to me whether there are more than one version available.

Is this one listed on dinball here:http://www.rcmart.com/sanwa-svplus-z...Path=1560_1021

essentially the same as the one listed on amain here: http://www.amainhobbies.com/rc-cars-...r92801/p451139 ?

Thanks if anyone can tell.

Also, is there blinky mode on this esc? If not, it may not be the right choice anyway.

OK, thanks. It was confusing me because RC mart says 8 modes, while Amain was saying 12.

Rcmart sells and ships from China, it could be awhile before you get it...

Tama. Rcmart would take longer, unless you ship it via EMS. Amain has very cheap shipping though so i wonder who'd come out cheaper.

Both are correct. 12 modes in total. 8 modes adjustable remotely via SSL (your M12/s or MT4s) and 4 via esc manually.

Ah, thanks again.

Yeah, I'll check shipping times before going with RCmart. I've used almost exclusively hobbywing for a while now (coming from Tekin), but wanted to give this one a try.

if you have the necessary TX, it's very convenient. if i have to say anything bad about them, it would be that the combo only has 1 extra channel/slot for another device, you would need to run a splitter if you have a motor fan and a transponder. i then sold my combos and now have 3 vortex zeros stand alone and 3 472s. try to check also RC Mushroom i think they still have a few in stock, they have a %20 coupon available.

I use the Vortex zero in TC and the Vortex Plus in my 1/10 pan car, neither lacks any speed, serious rip but smooth

The Sanwa Vortex Zero won the 2015 Japan Nationals Stock (Blinky) Class. This esc outperformed Tekin, Hobbywing, Yokomo and so on.

However, the driver was sponsored by Sanwa and a former Japan National Champion in the off-road class.

Still a great esc regardless of your racing level.
