Default Hoobywing Xtreme Stock - Noob Help

I am in need of a little help please:

I have just finished wiring up a Hobbywing Xtreme Stock ESC. When I switch it on, there is a single red led. When I switch it on with the set button held down I either get a continual beep or a fast intermittent beep with the red led flashing.

I am unable to set the throttle settings and the motor is not working at all.

The servo is working fine through the receiver.

Its all connected to a 2s LIPO and an HPI 10.5t Pro Brushless

The wires are all correctly soldered.

Any ideas on what the problem is?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Try reversing your throttle channel.

I think when u calibrate the throttle, u hold down the set button and as soon as u see the red light release it, and then hold full throttle, then press the button again and then reverse and then neutral and then power off and then on.....I think this is how it's done, not 100% sure:/

Assuming this is like other HW ESCs the order is neutral, full forward and then full reverse.

Fast1Guy - I am not sure I fully understand what reversing the throttle channel means?

Blitzkid and Grasschopper - The speedo is supposed to bleep whenever you set it at neutral, full throttle etc, but it's not doing that at all. I don't actually think it's picking up the settings.

Basically, when I hold down the set key and turn it on, I get a repeating red led from the speedo and repeating bleep from the motor. If I press it again, it either stops flashing and bleeping or I get a continual bleep.

I took all the soldering off this morning and re-wired it from scratch. The only thing that's changed now is that the motor trembles in time with the red flash and bleep.

The servo is working fine, so I don't think its a power problem and I have tried it with three different batteries.

It's baffling me as to what the problem is.

No further response from Hobbywing technical support yet, other than to read the manual.

There will either be switches on the transmitter case or an option in the programing to reverse any of the channels you have. You need to reverse the throttle channel with the switch or the programing. Hope this helps.

I'm open to any ideas, but sadly that didn't work.

true that

Check your throttle trim!!
If it is not at neutral it will cause a
RedLight to come on!!
Just an idea
