eco power 2200mah for speed runs rc car
i'm in a middle of speed record project and i'm reducing the weight of my rc car to the best i could reach.
Is it ok to use 2 of this below batteries
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...k-111V-2200mAh
it's wire 12GA with only 2200mah.
my plan is use 2 x ( 3S ) to get the total of 6S with less than 400gm of battery weight.
i'm going to use it along with high gearing but need an advise if it's ok to use such battery because i think it's made for heli's rather than rc cars.

it all depends on the motor you run. that battery will only supply 66 amps, thats not very much. you would see increased performance running a better battery at a bit of a weight penalty.
what motor and esc are you planning on running?

the motor & esc are hpi flux tork 2200kv. is their any possibilty that these packs with this motor would heat up fast or damaged ?

that motor is capable of pulling 120 amps. if you run those batteries your sure to end up with a fire.
with that sort of power your going to need to get some decent batteries. 5000mah 25c would be a good start.

Thanks for the headup with that low discharge rate compared to the motor's pulling amperage .
i guess i'll have to choose this instead, it's 143A rated.
