Randy said in another thread there will not be an exchange program.

I predict bluetooth/WiFi connectivity.

I'm with you on this... Remember the April Fools joke a year or 2 back that had the Hotwire app on the iPhone??
I'm guessing its going to be something along those lines.

Very smooth speedo. Felt the difference in off road and on road this weekend. Mod guys will really love the new throtle feel.

That's an easy one. The current hotwire plug is female and you need a male plug for the ESC. It's probable a male to male adapter.

Randy are you coming to Utah for April Fools Classic? I heard some Tekin guys will be here wouldn't mind scoping out the Gen 2.

Also looking forward to the new speedo. From the pic it appears there is an extra port on the front is that for a hotwire connection?

I'd love to make the fools race. I've missed out on the past few years. Not sure if it's in the cards yet but we'll see.

Yes the Gen 2 RS allows for the current Hotwire device to communicate. So a new Hotwire isn't needed on Gen 2RS.

Work is obviously getting in the way of my forum time. I just bought a new rs pro yesterday and didn't see this thread... I guess I can sell the rs in my buggy and upgrade to the new version when its out...
