Hi-
My Girlfriend's 60a hobbywing esc suddenly stopped working. It has forward throttle but if you try to reverse, it cuts out and has no throttle at all. The esc light switches from red to green and stays solid green. No motor power, only steering. If I turn the esc off then on, It will repeat. Forward then it dies if you reverse the throttle.

I tried checking electrical connections, different battery, rebinding, recalibrating and I swapped out recievers. No luck.
Also the esc will not make the beeping sounds.

Can anyone please help

Is it the xerun (sensored) esc. Id so, try removing the sensor cable, and see it it works. If it works unsensored, then there is either an issue with the cable, or as I have had before, an issue with the sensor board in the motor.

Its a hobbywing sensorless.
The cable to the receiver has continuity.
Nothing smells burnt so I have to assume the unit is defective?
