Default What radios have the best range?

I have a Spektrum DX2s that I'm using for high speed runs with my Ofna GTP2. As a radio, it's good, but as for range, it's terrible. I called them and they pretty much admitted that their radios don't have the best range. What radios should I be looking at that have looooong range.

If your looking for something cheap, basic, and has more range than you will ever need, the Tactic 2.4GHz radios will go farther than you can see them. I use these in boats since the RXs are so cheap. Never had a glitch or anything on the water, and when run in vehicles they can go farther than I can see without loosing signal.

Thanks everyone for the replies, I took a chance a picked up a Flysky radio. I only need it for a high speed run for my Ofna car. After researching and seeing videos, seems like a perfect radio for this task. I won't be using it for racing with my TC 6.1, it's seems to be a bashers radio. (Not that there's anything wrong with that) Not to mention that its cheap enough that if it really sucks, it's not a big deal if I can't sell it off.

I have the Fly Sky GT3B, Futaba 4PL and a Tactic 2.4ghz and the range is very close among them. The GT3B may have a slight edge.
