Default transponder mounting

I have a d8t-e. Just picked up an AMB transponder w/ all the ears, and am scratching my head as to where to mount this?

I could put it INSIDE the receiver box, or should I just servo tape it to the top of the receiver box? Does it matter? Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance -

Looking at a pic of a d8t-e, I'd try to servo tape the transponder on the plate right behind the front body mounts if it was mine.

I just leave my transponder in the Reciever box in my Buggy, haven't missed a lap yet.

I mount mine in an area that will not be hit in crashes but as far forward as possible to keep it away from all the other electronics.
