Looked at a transmitter that had a color flip screen and seemed real user friendly. Don't remember the name of the manufacturer. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Yes it is the Radiopost. Very nice radios and I highly recommend them. Any questions on them just ask. There is a thread here for radiopost as well.
