I don't think I've ever read a bad Hyperion review.

It works now...Danny has lots of good info over on hobby talk. I don't know what they had before but the stuff I have bought has been very good. At least he doesnt lie about C ratings and stuff like that and He shares all his testing on Hobby talk for every one to see. Plus the price is good too.

I remember having two puffed 1S packs which he eventually replaced after I sent them back. I don't know what happened to the replacements since I sold them. They were OK but I replaced them with Reedys and then Pro-Tec.

Have you ever heard Team Power from RC Explorer ?, try their 6800mAh 70C.
Been using this for the past 4 month, my Li-Po had about 40 times charging and still going strong and its not going to cost your arm and leg.

Not to thread jack, but you might look in to our Vicious Teknology lipos. We just released our 60c 6500mah 2s and 3s. We offer a 6 month no fault (just please don't abuse us) warranty, and each battery is checked for capacity, balance and IR before it leaves the factory and again before we ship them out. I'm biased of course , but apples to apples, they're as punchy and last as long as anything out there. Free shipping through the 28th.

We recently held a 20 minute Mod Truck main and I needed another decent battery. Most everyone here has been running Orion Carbon, but they seem to puff pretty regularly. I wasn't anxious to spend $135 for another one. In the shop, they had received in some new batteries and my first glance caught some new batteries boasting huge C ratings, but followed up with some pretty hefty price tags too.

I then saw some new TrakPower 6800 Mah/70C batteries in the $100 range. Knowing nothing of TrakPower (except for their awesome soldering station!), I thought I'd give one a try. I made the 20 minute Main with no problem and could have likely gone another 20 minutes lol. Then, this Friday, a buddy had left his high amp batteries at home and didn't have anything to run his Pro-4 truck (running the battery hungry Tekin RX8/Pro-4 combo). I loaned him the TrakPower which survived the constant charge/race sequence throughout the night. He commented that the battery had a lot more "punch" than anything he had ran before with that combo.

For a $100 battery, I don't think you can beat it.

vicous tek, do your 2s fit into sc10 4x4's, your site doesn't have much info about sizes

The only high end pack I am satisfied with (so far) is my now almost one year old LRP 5300 mAh pack, which works as new. I've had experiences with many high end packs and have been dissapointed with all of them (either puffed or significant performance loss), none being as good as the cheap Turnigy packs I would like to note that I take good care of my batteries

Sorry I missed your question before. Our lipos are a pretty standard size hard case 139mm x 48mm x 26mm. They should fit right in your SC10.

My vote would be #1 Thunder power or #2 Reedy.

IMO Orion is over priced and is now advertising the same way Maxamps does. Calling their batteries 90C batteries when they are 90C burst rating. Everyone I know who has run them no longer does because the batteries puffed or just didn't perform.
