Default Savox SC-1267SG on a MBX6R for steering torque enough?

Hi everyone,

I just got my new Mugen Mbx6R (US) and I was looking for the best servos combo not regulated at 7.4V
my local RC store have only these Savox SC-1267SG in stock for my like it....
I know the 1268 have more torque but are these 1267SG have enough torque and power for the steering to race?
Savox SC-1267SG Torque(@7.4V oz-in): 291.0

thanks to let me if any of you have these setup and have not problemes
Chris

Yes sir! this is plenty for a buggy. I have the SC-1256TG Standard Digital "High Torque" in my buggy and the torque spec of it is 277 and its more than enough.

That's what I've been using this season. They're great performers, but drain a tonne from your rx battery.

If your receiver can take lipo, I recommend go for it, but if you're not comfortable running lipo, don't.

Been running lipo with the 1267tg for both throttle and steering in my buggy without any problem. I did install some battery indicator for the lipo though.
