Make sure your radio is set to 100% everything. Make sure you the correct setting of RX in your radio. Make sure sensor wire is connected, unplug it and plug it back in. Unplug battery turn everything off. Then plug back in and rebind.

Yes, the LRP eats Viper for breakfast. We have a lot of Flows at our track, they're used by all the fast drivers. I don't think we have any Vipers.

If you like reedy and hate Viper you'll find yourself with a conundrum because the new Reedy speedo is supposed to be made by Viper.

The viper has some tuning options that the Flow doesn't, like brake and throttle frequencies, neutral width, the way timing is added, and dynamic brake. Do you already have the viper, or are you looking to set up another car? I liked the dynamic brake on my vtx10 in 17.5. I kinda wish the LRP had it so I could try it in mod.

Also, the LRP is like 40g. The vtx10r is over 60 grams. I don't think I'd buy another viper, but for 17.5 or slower, if you've already got the viper, I doubt you'd see much improvement from upgrading.

I'm pretty sure the new Reedy was (is?) supposed to be made by Hobbywing. In fact, I would hope so, as my Hobbywing ESCs are pretty much bulletproof with plenty of tuning options.

I didn't realize you were running a VTX10R, Mike, that's good to know though. Therefore, I retract my previous comment, some fast guys are running Vipers

Having said that... when I was first looking for ESCs, our local guys pretty much told me to stay away from Viper based on some local drama. It sounds like those bad vibes have passed, which is good.
