Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

have you the motor fan attached on receiver? if yes, please attach it directly to battery, no fan on receiver with flow and mod motor!

For what it is worth, I run mod 12th with a fan connected to the rx and it works great. Not sure whether the additional lipo rx pack is masking whatever issue Damon is referring to, though.

Hey, guys I wanted to share some information. I figured out a simple solution for the motor temp cutoff problem with some sub/non standard motors that have a incorrect value thermistor.
The one i had problems was from Robitronic/Exceed.
The fix is simple, just cut the marked wire on a sensor cable.
You won`t have a motor temp check anymore, but most ESCs dont monitor it anyway.

What's the best way to keep the capacitor in place? My servo tape doesn't seem to be working great. It seems like it could let the cap move in a crash. Given that it's between the ESC and the belt, that could get ugly fast.

I shoe goo'd my cap to the side of the heat sink. I've run it like that in mod and have had some big hits and it hasn't moved. Clean both surfaces first.

Hi guys
We are having our national event next week. Testing my Flow with x20 in 17.5 boosted, it looked like my turbo never activated. Here are the settings I ran. 0.5.5.8.8.5.0 with 30 deg motor insert. Was I "over timing" the motor ? Please give your suggestions please.
Yokomo BD7 fdr 6.6 . The car was strong out of the corners but that was it.

I have ver 5.0 stock firmware. One question.....is the boost slope / activation the rate at wich it applies the boost timing? Also, is there also a max amount of degrees one has to use . Example...boost timing + torque timing + turbo = 64 deg?

Are there any repercussions in unsoldering the switch out of the car?

Has anyone had any issues?

Regards
Nathan

I do not have a switch and have no issues. But i think the flow differs in the way you need to remove the switch. I think you need to leave the contact 'open' en stead of closed to have the esc 'on'

Ok thanks for confirming, reason being, I have taken the switch off both ESC's and they work fine with the standard software, but when I updated to 3.1 for offroad, the throttle has absolutely no response, and only way to get it to work it resort back to 1.4

Default LRP Firmware update warning!!

Sent it in to LRP and they provided me with the following warning/reset procedure when changing firmware...

As far as I know, this info is not available online and according to LRP, this is the reason why my ESC was resetting / shutting down all the time.

Was the community aware of this?

Thanks.
